3 Essentials is a comprehensive online learning package that combines three award-winning programs: Reading Eggs, Writing Legends, Mathseeds and Mathletics. It offers a complete, school-wide solution for enhancing students’ reading, writing and maths skills.

Where is 3 Essentials available?

3 Essentials is available in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. New features will be released in 2025 starting with Australia and New Zealand in January 2025 ahead of the new 2025 school year.

What programs are included in 3 Essentials?

Reading Eggs: The multi-award winning reading program aligned to the science of reading. It’s designed to make learning essential reading and phonics skills fun and engaging for students.

Writing Legends: The systematic program where children learn to write with confidence, developing essential writing skills along the way.

Mathletics and Mathseeds: Maths programs offering interactive online activities and explicit teaching to boost students’ engagement and improve their results. Mathseeds targets early numeracy, while Mathletics builds mathematical fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Is there a special offer available for 3 Essentials?

Will historical data be available in the new 3 Essentials Teacher Dashboard?

Yes, data you previously had access to will be available. Plus, in 2025 we’ll be introducing cross-program reporting.

Will single sign-on be available for schools who DO NOT HAVE ALL FOUR PROGRAMS included in 3 Essentials?

Yes, single sign-on will be available to all users within Australia and New Zealand with any of these product combinations: Reading Eggs, Writing Legends, Mathseeds and Mathletics.

Will existing login credentials continue to work?

All valid teacher and subscription coordinator login emails used prior to 3 Essentials will continue to work on the relevant program’s login page. Simply reset your password to create your new single sign-on credentials. 

What about rollover?

To make your 2025 rollover as effortless as possible, we will handle the rollover on your behalf.

How do I manage my classes?

For those using multiple programs, managing your class has never been simpler. In one place you can set up a class and your students gain access to all the programs your school subscribes to.

What makes 3 Essentials different from other educational programs?

3 Essentials stands out due to its comprehensive approach, combining three essential academic areas in one integrated package. It focuses on not only building essential skills but also fostering a love for learning through engaging and motivating content. The built-in progress monitoring and differentiation features further ensure that each student receives personalised instruction and support, maximising their learning outcomes.

What are the steps to get students working within the programs and accessing the Weekly Quests?

Now with single sign-on using QR codes or username logins, your students can access any of the programs they’re subscribed to from a single hub, with one student login.

A. Once logged in, students are ready to go! Most programs begin with a placement test to place students at the right level.

B. Each week, the Weekly Quest will prompt students to complete the next lesson in their learning journey.

C. OR, if teachers assign work, students must complete this work first. Students will see all assignments on the student landing page.
