The 2022 November Numeracy Challenge is a fun, free and fantastic online maths competition for all schools.
Students can earn points for your school by completing Mental Minute sprints during the event. It’s great fun, rewarding and students can contribute points no matter their level!
Schools get free full access to Mathseeds for 2 weeks so they can sharpen their mathematical skills and explore all the awesome learning tools. And the best part is, we set everything up for you!

Prize packs are awarded to the top 5 schools, based on the highest average of participation points. Encourage your whole school to compete!
This event is open to all schools without a Mathseeds subscription. Schools or classes are required to register for the event to participate and be eligible for prizes.
Winners will be determined by the highest everage of total Mental Minute sprints completed in a school. This will be calculated by taking the total number of participating points divided by the total number of registered students in the school.
To allow fair competition between schools of different sizes, school points are calculated on an “average points per student” basis. For example, a school of 200 registered students scores a total of 1,000,000 points during the competition. Their league table ranking would be based on an average of 5,000 points per student.

Students earn 1 point per Mental Minute sprint completed.
There will be prizes for the top 5 schools.
Once the 2022 November Numeracy Challenge has ended, all results will be verified. Upon completion of verification, the winners will be announced on the Numeracy November Challenge website under the Hall of Fame section and via email. All results as determined by the 3P Learning team are final.
